| Members of
the AFA have formed a number of support groups designed to provide targeted
support to specific AFA members. Listed below are information and contact
details of these support groups.
-
Kimchi Club (Korea) - is a subgroup of the AFA. It consists of Canberra families who have adopted children from Korea and who gather together to celebrate Korean culture. These gatherings are a means to keep our children connected to the country of their birth while having fun at the same time. The Kimchi Club's objectives are to interface with the Canberra Korean community and work with the AFA to provide access for adoptive families to Korean culture. Participation in the Kimchi Club is free to AFA members. Please contact Deb Vertessy to find out more about the Kimchi Club.
